About Atumica
Atumica is the tool we wanted while we were running cloud at scale.
We spent years inside large SaaS organizations answering the same question: why did the bill move? Every tool we tried gave us a number we then had to go verify by hand. Atumica is what we built instead.
It is a cloud cost management platform, working with a small group of design partners. Every figure reconciles against your provider’s own billing export and is normalized to FOCUS, the FinOps Foundation’s open specification for cloud cost data.
We’re based in the San Francisco Bay Area and work with teams across the US and other time zones.

Engineering-first platform
At a large SaaS organization, we led the transition from a traditional ops function to an engineering-driven PaaS model — shifting infrastructure ownership to product teams, building internal developer platforms, and replacing manual processes with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
Cloud infrastructure at scale
Across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes, we have designed and managed cloud infrastructure through production scale — leading migration initiatives, implementing observability tooling that makes distributed systems legible, and building SRE practices that reduce operational overhead and strengthen incident response.
FinOps at SaaS scale
At a large SaaS organization, we built cloud cost accountability from the ground up — working across finance, executive, engineering, and operations stakeholders to create clear ownership and automated controls. The dashboards were straightforward. Getting teams to own the numbers on them took most of the effort.
